Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy to provide comprehensive audiological care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough audiometric assessments to evaluate patients' hearing capabilities.
- Diagnose hearing loss and balance disorders through various tests and examinations.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Fit, dispense, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Experience with audiometric and vestibular testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Additional information: £250 per session, with the opportunity to complete two sessions per day — earning up to £500 daily.
