Working on a day shift (some shift work may be required) after some initial training, ideally this person must have at least 1 years’ experience of working on a powder coat or wet paint plant.
However, we would consider individuals willing to undertake training.
Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential.
The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approximately 8 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.
Duties will include, selecting paint from stock and preparing both the spray booth and powder coating guns for each new job, performing frequent change overs of colour, spraying parts of various size and ensuring paint thickness and gloss levels are correct on finished product.
On occasions they may be required to jig up parts ready to paint, masking parts from drawing detail, packing finished parts and general housekeeping duties as and when required.
