Chef - All-Arounder
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can grow your culinary skills.
What You’ll Do
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook dishes following our recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is high quality and beautifully presented
- Help develop menu items and share ideas
Kitchen Management
- Work closely with the Head Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant to keep the operation running smoothly
- Support and train team members
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Follow all food safety and hygiene requirements
Stock & Organisation
- Manage ingredients efficiently and minimise waste
- Help with stock rotation and ordering
- Complete necessary logs and checks
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Good cooking skills and food preparation knowledge
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Able to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environment
- Team-player with good communication skills
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays
Nice to Have
- Culinary qualifications or apprenticeship
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate
- Café experience
- Allergen management knowledge
