Site Engineer – Cramlington, Northumberland
SHANCO are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of external works. This role will suit someone who is confident working independently and managing both the engineering and quality assurance aspects of the project.
The role will be initially be based in Cramlington, before moving further North to Alnwick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for drainage, ducting and hard landscaping works
- Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining accurate records
- Managing site documentation and engineering records
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Providing day-to-day engineering support to the site team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience setting out external works
- Strong knowledge of drainage and infrastructure packages
- Experience managing QA processes and associated documentation
- The ability to work independently on a live construction project
- A valid CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
- A in date medical
