Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Labourer/Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of hands-on tasks related to roofing, general construction, and fabrication projects. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of roofing installations, repairs, and other building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs using roofing materials and techniques.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and equipment around job sites.
- Conduct fabrication and carpentry work as needed for framing, supports, or custom components.
- Support plumbing, masonry, or other trades during multi-disciplinary projects.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane systems.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work.
- Knowledge of plumbing, masonry, carpentry, or related trades is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards at all times.
Work Available at the end of August.
Pay: From £80.00 per day
