Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cook/Food Preparation specialist to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking, following established recipes and standards
- Cook a variety of dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, appliances, and workstations
- Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed to prevent contamination and ensure quality
- Assist in meal preparation for service periods, supporting the overall efficiency of the kitchen team
- Serve prepared food items in a timely manner, maintaining presentation quality
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related kitchen roles
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as chopping or stirring

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
