Novell Property & Gardens Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Garden Maintenance Operative to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position working across Belfast, Bangor and surrounding areas. The role will involve carrying out regular garden maintenance for residential and commercial customers, with the aim of eventually taking responsibility for your own maintenance route.
Duties include:
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Weeding and general garden tidying
- Seasonal garden maintenance
- Leaf and garden-waste clearance
- Using and maintaining mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and other equipment
- Loading and unloading tools and green waste
- Following a daily maintenance schedule
- Dealing professionally with customers
- Keeping the company vehicle and equipment tidy
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Previous garden-maintenance experience is preferred
- Confident using mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Professional attitude when working at customers’ properties
