Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to safety standards, and excellent driving skills. The ideal applicant will have experience in commercial driving and familiarity with flatbed vehicles.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver parcels to clients and customers.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and timeliness.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring the security of parcel during transit.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients as required.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatch or management regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during all driving activities.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver, ideally with knowledge commercial van operation.
- Previous experience in delivery roles
- Familiarity with ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps.
- Strong driving record with no recent violations or endorsements that could compromise safety.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively for multiple deliveries throughout the day.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members professionally.

Pay: £110.00-£150.00 per day
