We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced qualified Childcare Practitioner to work within our Baby Room.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is committed to supporting children's development and learning through play.
- Is enthusiastic and keen to play an active role in the development of the centre.
- Has a sound knowledge of early years curriculums and supporting documentation.
- Is flexible in their approach and works well as part of a team.
- Has ideally at least 2 years experience of working in a Baby room.
- As part of the team you will:
- Contribute to the development of a stimulating and safe environment in which our children can develop and grow.
- Contribute to and implement an interesting, stimulating and child-centred curriculum inspiring curiosity and challenge, in line with Local and National Guidance.
- Work closely with families and other agencies to support children's development and learning, maintaining records of attainment and sharing information with others when required.
Requirements:
- Must hold an HNC Early Education and Childcare or equivalent qualification as defined by SSSC.
- If not already registered, must register with SSSC as a Practitioner. This must be completed within 3 months of taking up a Practitioner post.
- An updated PVG check will be required (Paid for by employer).
- This is a permanent position, working shifts Tuesday - Friday 7.30am - 6pm.
