Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality is highly desirable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional setting.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to uphold a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen or clothing
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health and safety regulations
