Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Executive specialising in Personal Injury (PI) and Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of PI/RTA claims, ensuring efficient progression from inception to resolution. Duties
- Manage and progress a portfolio of PI and RTA claims, ensuring adherence to deadlines and legal procedures.
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Maintain accurate case files and records using organisational skills and IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, medical providers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or written correspondence.
- Utilise Proclaim case management system to track case progress, deadlines, and relevant data.
- Conduct research on legal precedents, regulations, and case law relevant to personal injury claims.
- Settlement negotiations.
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external legal standards throughout all stages of case management.
Qualifications
- Proven communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to legal case management is preferred.
- Previous experience in litigation roles specialising in PI/RTA claims is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining team collaboration when necessary.
