We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team at the Royal Hotel in Cumnock. This is a zero hours position, with typical working hours expected to be around 12–16 hours per week, depending on business needs. As part of our Housekeeping Team, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Typical shifts will be scheduled between 7:00am and 3:00pm.

- Cleaning all public areas of the hotel to the highest standards.
- Servicing and preparing guest bedrooms, ensuring rooms are immaculate and ready for arrivals.
- Fulfilling special guest requests where required.
- Completing room checks and associated housekeeping documentation.
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly to the Duty Manager.
- Identifying and reporting any concerns regarding guest misuse of hotel facilities.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for guests and colleagues.
- Working closely with the Head Housekeeper and Duty Manager to ensure exceptional presentation standards throughout the hotel.
- Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is desirable.
- A reliable, hard-working, and punctual individual with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and busy periods as required.
