Office Administrator

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience. For part-time candidates, the salary will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Office Administrator to join our team.
No previous property experience is required. We are looking for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who is confident using computer systems and keen to learn.
The role is fully office-based and will involve supporting the day-to-day running of one of our three sister property companies, dealing with customers, keeping systems and records accurate, and supporting the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming telephone calls and directing or dealing with enquiries
- Responding to emails and customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Providing administrative support to the wider team
- Updating and maintaining our internal systems and property records
- Ensuring information, notes and customer details are recorded accurately
- Booking appointments and assisting with diary management
- Following up outstanding information and actions
- Preparing and checking documents
- Keeping electronic records and files organised and up to date
- Liaising with customers, landlords, tenants, contractors and other third parties
- Supporting the team with general office administration
- Helping ensure tasks are followed through to completion
- Flexible across the wider business – while your main responsibilities will sit within your core role, you may be asked to provide administrative support across any of our three businesses as required, giving you exposure to different areas of the group.
What We're Looking For
Property experience is not required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, organisation and attention to detail.
You should be:
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Detail-focused – accuracy is particularly important in this role
- Confident speaking to customers on the telephone
- Professional and friendly when dealing with enquiries
- Comfortable managing a busy email inbox
- Good with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly
- Able to keep accurate notes and records
- Proactive and willing to take responsibility for completing tasks
- Able to prioritise your workload effectively
- Reliable and consistent
- A good communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working as part of a busy team
Hours
We are flexible and would consider candidates looking for between 25 and 37.5 hours per week.
