HGV Driver/General Yard Person
C Plant Services Ltd – Honiton
This is a rare opportunity for a hgv driver/general yard person to join an expanding family run plant hire business.
Based at their yard on the outskirts of Honiton, you will be working as part of a team to ensure certain time-specific tasks are complete and enabling them to provide their clients with a professional and efficient service.
Main duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to;
- Loading & unloading plant machinery
- Delivering & collecting of equipment to our customers usually within a 30 mile radius
- Steam cleaning plant machinery upon return & ensuring it has been fueled up and greased prior to going out on the next hire
- Attending to customers needs as required i.e loading/unloading equipment onto trailers etc
- General yard duties
Skills and experience:
- Driving License Essential
- C2 License required
- You will be required to build good working relationships, be a team player as well as using own initiative and have good communication skills.
- Confidence in providing a friendly and efficient service when dealing with customers
The role would suit a well-mannered and outgoing person, to join our friendly family-run plant hire company.
- Sociable working hours 8am-5pm. No overnight stays required providing you with a work/life balance
- 42.5 Hrs P/W Monday - Friday Occasional overtime may be required but not necessary at weekends.
- 20 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidays
- Christmas shutdown

Pay: £30,940.00-£33,150.00 per year
