We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Assist in preparing garnishes, organising stock, and restocking supplies as needed
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines to promote safety for all guests
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
