JKS Medical Services Wrecsam LTD is seeking professional, disciplined, and proactive medical clinicians to join our bank staff for event medical deployments across North Wales and surrounding regions.
We operate a dynamic, high-standard deployment model covering everything from large-scale outdoor markets and airfields to high-risk sports events. We are recruiting across three distinct clinical tiers. Successful candidates will be deployed according to their current scope of practice, working either within static treatment posts or conducting active, paired roaming foot patrols.
REQUIRED CLINICAL QUALIFICATIONS (ANY OF THE FOLLOWING):
- First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC 3) or equivalent.
- First Response Emergency Care Level 4 (FREC 4) or equivalent.
- First Response Emergency and Urgent Care Level 5 (FREUC 5) / Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP)or equivalent.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience & Training: Proven experience working in an event medical, pre-hospital, or frontline ambulance environment OR a clear willingness to attend ongoing JKS internal training and CPD modules to upskill to our operational standard.
- Enhanced DBS: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check registered strictly on the DBS Update Service. Continuous compliance check validity is a requirement for ongoing deployment.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and highly mobile. Deployed staff are routinely required to conduct continuous mobile foot patrols over vast physical areas, carry heavy initial-response medical bags, operate extrication equipment, and navigate uneven, rugged outdoor terrain (e.g., active airfields, fields, and steep event sites) in all weather conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality, professional pre-hospital clinical care within your designated scope of practice.
- Conduct proactive, paired mobile foot patrols across event footprints to actively identify hazards and dynamic clinical risks.
- Maintain exceptional communication via professional radio discipline with the JKS Medical Lead and Event Control.
- Ensure all patient care records (PCRs) are logged with 100% accuracy and clinical detail on the Salus 3 cloud system.
- Actively manage and maintain assigned response bags, AEDs, and clinical equipment, reporting any defects immediately.
- Adhere strictly to the JKS Zero-Tolerance policy, maintaining a pristine, polite, and authoritative uniform presence at all times.
- Safely handle and segregate clinical waste generated during treatment.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Previous experience dealing with dense crowds or vast outdoor event geographies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills—able to remain calm, firm, and compassionate under pressure when dealing with members of the public or event stewards.
- A strong understanding of dynamic scene safety and dynamic risk assessment.
