Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care / Support Workers to join our domiciliary carer team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own residence. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Undertake the tasks detailed in the Client’s care and support plan using a person - centered approach and in the least intrusive way.
- Assist Clients getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
- Assist Clients to wash, bath and shower
- Assist Clients to dress and undress
- Assist Clients to look after their skin, teeth, hair and nails
- Assist Clients with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with specials needs.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly
- Take responsibility for the safe handling of property and equipment belonging to the Client
- Maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with Clients
- Provide companionship to the Client, actively talking and listening to them about their interests
- Help the Client to maintain contact with their family and friends
- Accompany the Client on trips into the community
- Assist the Client to manage their personal affairs
- Ensure as safe as possible the living environment for the Client, whilst respecting the Client’s choice and rights
- Assist with hospice care needs by offering emotional support and comfort during sensitive times.
Experience
- Prior experience in domiciliary care, assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
- Proven background in patient care, caregiving, or home support services.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and hospice support is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration, first aid procedures, and basic nursing practices.
- Experience in meal preparation, behavior management, and heavy lifting tasks is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties is preferred.
- Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude are essential for success in this role.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
