Job Summary:
The provision of tax services for a portfolio of fiduciary clients which will include the completion of Income and corporation tax returns, and responding to tax queries.
Job Accountabilities:
The preparation of tax reporting in the Crown Dependencies and UK as required for trusts and companies
> Drafting communications with tax authorities and group teams regarding tax payments and returns
> Updating and maintaining tasks and compliance spreadsheets
> Preparation of tax review of accounts to aid identification of key tax risks
> Working with management to assist in completion of tasks for a key portfolio of clients
> Develop relationships within wider office teams
> Preparation of correspondence with settlors and beneficiaries regarding their tax reporting requirements
> Liaison with other departments within the group, and draft responses to tax queries from trust administrators
> Liaison with clients, as required
> Partake in delivery of training sessions for the team and wider group, under supervision of more senior members of the team.
> To train and assist junior colleagues with queries/problems
> Raising discrepancies in process and flagging with management/arranging required update
Minimum Education and Experience
> Educated to a minimum of A level standard, or equivalent
> Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
> Part qualified preferred, but working toward relevant qualification
