Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial components and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse operations to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required.
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint, coatings, or sealants accurately and efficiently.
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications using basic maths skills.
- Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure consistent application quality.
- Perform minor repairs or touch-ups on painted surfaces as needed.
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, or other related tasks when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting, fabrication, or warehouse environments is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Ability to work with basic maths for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately.
- Experience with the use of hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial painting and equipment operation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
- Prior experience in welding or fabrication is advantageous but not essential.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting or manoeuvring materials.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
