We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Supervise kitchen staff during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared consistently and to the highest quality
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste
- Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations

Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques
- Excellent team management and leadership capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on high-quality service
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
