Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process
- Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
- Answer phone calls promptly, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments accurately and maintain detailed records of transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it is welcoming at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette are essential
- Knowledge of guest services standards within the hospitality industry is advantageous
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail are required to manage reservations and guest requests efficiently
