Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on various equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs efficiently
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks safely to handle large components or machinery parts
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems by interpreting schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Assist with equipment installation, assembly, and upgrades as needed
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory for accountability and future reference
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and equipment repair processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Prior experience in troubleshooting mechanical issues in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred
