Maternity Cover Role - Full time role (40 hours over 4 days)
We are looking or a passionate Level 3 practitioner to lead our Half Moon's room (2-3 years).
We are looking for enthusiastic, imaginative, caring individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding childcare and education to Early Years children.
As a Room Leader you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and well-being.
As well as Leading and Managing the Half Moon's room, you will be implementing our Nursery curriculum and ensuring that our children receive the highest quality care and education.

Duties
- Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote early learning and development.
- Supervise and interact with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective strategies for managing children's behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare and early education.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education is essential with a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification.
- Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and learning.
- Experience managing groups of children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience working with children is essential.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and childcare regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families.
- Leadership qualities to inspire teamwork among staff members while maintaining a positive atmosphere within the nursery setting.

Pay: Up to £28,870.00 per year
