Category C / Class 2 Driver – Milton Keynes
We are a well-established, family-run business looking for a professional and reliable 7.5 Tonne / 12 Tonne Driver to join our team based in Milton Keynes.
This is a full-time, ongoing position dedicated to one of our key customers, offering a consistent daily route with manageable delivery volumes.
Position Details
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.75 per hour
Start Times: Between 06:00 and 09:00
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne or 12 tonne vehicle
- Deliver goods to designated locations on time
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules, and company policies
- Communicate with the office/customer if there are any delays or issues
- Assist with route planning to ensure efficient deliveries
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ driving or delivery experience preferred
- Newly qualified drivers may be considered depending on driving record
- Must hold a valid C1 licence for 7.5 tonne
- Must hold a valid Category C / Class 2 licence for 12 tonne
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Able to work independently and professionally
- Good customer service attitude
Employment Options
