Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily retail operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the store.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance appraisals.
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained and stock levels are optimised.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in stock management, including ordering, receiving deliveries, and inventory control.
- Foster a positive shopping environment that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
