Job Description
We are looking for a confident and motivated Plant & Tool Hire Sales Representative to help grow our new plant and tool hire business across East Kent.
This is a proactive sales role. You will spend much of your time out meeting local builders, groundworkers, landscapers, contractors and trades, introducing our hire services and developing new customer accounts.
The ideal candidate will have experience within plant hire, tool hire, construction sales or the building industry and understand what trade customers expect from a good hire company.
Existing contacts within the East Kent construction industry would be a major advantage.
Responsibilities
- Generate new plant and tool hire business
- Visit building sites and local contractors
- Develop relationships with builders, groundworkers, landscapers and other trades
- Open and develop new customer accounts
- Follow up quotations and enquiries
- Contact prospective customers
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Promote our range of plant, machinery and tools
- Identify equipment customers regularly need
- Help build a strong local customer base
- Work closely with the hire team to provide excellent customer service
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Previous plant hire or tool hire experience is preferred, although we would consider someone with strong construction industry sales experience.
A full UK driving licence is required.
