Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and cooking processes.
- Prepare and cook authentic Spanish dishes with attention to detail, flavor, and presentation.
- Oversee food production, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and consistency.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate serving times and guest satisfaction.
- Train team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with Spanish cuisine or similar Mediterranean styles.
- Supervising experience in a professional kitchen setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Experience managing a team of kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and motivation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations applicable to restaurant operations.
- Previous restaurant experience that highlights your ability to deliver excellent hospitality service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
