At Jimmy’s Wok, we pride ourselves on delivering bold, flavour-packed Pan-Asian cuisine with speed, consistency, and quality. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and take our food to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take full control of the kitchen operations — from managing the team to creating exciting dishes to match our branding and maintaining top-tier standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure consistency in quality and presentation
- Develop and introduce new menu items and specials
- Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Control food costs and minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards to deliver an excellent customer experience
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef.
- Experience in Asian or wok-style cuisine is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Good knowledge of food safety standards (Level 3 Food Hygiene preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
