Job Summary:
Bennett Engineering is currently seeking a Permanent Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the warehouse, working as part of a team or on their own. The successful candidate will be a reliable and dedicated individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and pack pick-up hitches for tractors, ensuring they meet the required quality standards
Control and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times
Load and unload goods using a forklift truck, and move products to the appropriate storage areas
Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely
Perform manual handling tasks as required
Undertake other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar warehouse environment is essential
Must hold a valid forklift truck license
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
Must be physically fit to undertake manual handling tasks
Willingness to learn new skills and improve on existing ones
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
