Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Lead and manage the culinary team, fostering a positive, motivated environment
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency, presentation, and flavor excellence
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations across all kitchen areas
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
- Train staff on proper cooking techniques, food handling, and serving procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced culinary environment, ideally within a hotel or restaurant setting
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing diverse kitchen teams and fostering collaboration
- Solid background in food safety practices and regulatory compliance
- Experience in menu development, food presentation, and quality control
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable to understand guest expectations and service flow
