Part-Time / Flexible / Developing Domiciliary Care Service
Location: Staffordshire / Hybrid Working
Hours: Approximately 16–24 hours per week initially
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and CQC registration status

2Carers Ltd is a developing domiciliary care provider delivering regulated personal care and non-regulated community support across Staffordshire and surrounding areas.
We are a small but growing service with a close-knit team and a focus on dignity, compassion, independence and person-centred care. Our care delivery and oversight are supported through Birdie digital care management systems.
This role would suit someone who understands the realities of working with a smaller developing provider and is comfortable helping shape safe, compliant and sustainable growth.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and supportive care manager to oversee our domiciliary care service and either:
- Become the Registered Manager with CQC; or
- Work initially in a management role while progressing towards CQC registration.
This is not a large corporate environment. The successful candidate will be hands-on, practical, approachable and able to work collaboratively with the Nominated Individual, senior staff and care team.
The role is offered on a flexible part-time basis initially due to the current size of the service. As the organisation grows, there may be opportunities for increased hours and longer-term progression.
Main Responsibilities
The Registered Care Manager will support with:
- Safe day-to-day care delivery
- CQC compliance and regulatory oversight
- Quality assurance, audits and governance systems
- Care plan and risk assessment reviews
- Staff supervision, spot checks and competency checks
- Safeguarding oversight and incident management
- Recruitment and safer staffing processes
- Policy, procedure and operational development
- Inspection readiness and service improvement
- Accurate record keeping using Birdie and other approved systems

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within adult social care management
- Experience within domiciliary care services
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to support governance and quality assurance processes
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Previously registered with CQC as a Registered Manager
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or working towards it
- Experience supporting service growth and development
- Experience using digital care systems such as Birdie
