VAT technician
(Trainee considered)
(22 ½ hours per week, but more hours considered for the suitable candidate)
We are looking for a conscientious, self-motivated individual to join our VAT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The role will involve preparation of clients’ VAT returns, communication with clients and submission of VAT returns to HMRC. It will also involve completing VAT forms (VAT registration, deregistration, Option to Tax forms etc).
Therefore, we are looking for someone with:
- Experience of producing VAT returns (would be an advantage but training will be given to the suitable candidate).
- Experience of computers
- Working knowledge of Xero accounting software (would be an advantage but training will be given to the suitable candidate).
- Working knowledge of excel
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Drive and determination
- Good communication skills
- Good time management & organisational skills
