Overview
We are seeking an experienced Children’s Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a children’s 2 bed EBD residential care home in Anfield.
This is an established home with a GOOD Ofsted and scope to dual manage if prefered.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of the residential home, ensuring high standards of care are consistently met and maintained.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans that reflect each child's needs, preferences, and goals.
- Supervise and support a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with Ofted.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, social workers, and external agencies to promote collaborative support networks.
- Oversee safeguarding procedures diligently to protect children from harm or neglect at all times.
- Maintain accurate records related to care plans, incidents, staff rotas, and regulatory documentation for audit purposes.
Skills
- Proven GOOD track record with Ofsted.
- Leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in a care setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Children Act and Ofsted regulations governing children’s homes.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs while ensuring safety and well-being.
- Strong organizational skills for managing staff schedules, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives through compassionate leadership and innovative care approaches.

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
