The Lounge
Design911 is excited to announce the opening of The Lounge, a premium space hosting events for both members and the public.
We are looking for reliable, friendly and professional bar and waiting staff to help us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and guests.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new venture, supporting a range of Porsche events, customer evenings, private functions and special events.
Bar Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and support the bar team during daily operations and events.
- Allocate duties and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities.
- Organise staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels for events and functions.
- Train and support bar staff to maintain high standards of service.
- Monitor staff performance, presentation and professionalism.
- Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional working environment.
Customer Service & Guest Experience
- Ensure all guests receive friendly, professional and attentive service.
- Maintain a welcoming, premium and professional atmosphere at all times.
- Deal confidently and professionally with customer queries, requests and complaints.
- Ensure drinks are prepared and served to a consistently high standard.
- Support the delivery of a premium guest experience across all events.
Bar Operations
- Oversee the preparation and set-up of the bar before opening and events.
- Ensure the bar remains clean, fully stocked and well organised throughout service.
- Manage closing procedures, including cleaning, stock checks and securing the bar.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements.
- Minimise waste and ensure stock is stored correctly and securely.
- Ensure bar equipment, glassware and facilities are maintained and ready for use.
Events & Functions
- Liaise with event planner to run bar operations for Porsche events, customer evenings and private functions.
- Ensure the bar team is fully briefed before each event.
- Plan staffing, stock and bar requirements according to the event.
- Work closely with event and management teams to ensure the smooth running of each function.
- Ensure the bar maintains a high-end and professional presentation throughout events.
Licensing, Health & Safety
- Ensure all bar operations comply with relevant licensing requirements.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Ensure age-verification procedures are followed where required.
- Identify and address any health, safety or operational concerns promptly.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for both guests and staff.
Standards & Presentation
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
- Ensure the bar area, equipment and service areas are presented to a premium standard.
- Monitor the quality and presentation of drinks and service.
- Ensure staff maintain appropriate professional appearance and conduct.
- Continually look for ways to improve the efficiency and quality of the bar operation.
Hours
Thursday's & Friday's: 5:30pm – 11:00pm
Weekends: Hours will vary depending on events and opening times, with additional hours available during larger events.
There may also be opportunities for additional shifts around special events and private functions.

Essential
Previous hospitality, bar or waiting experience is essential.
