Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete multiple drops across designated routes
- Load and unload packages with care, including handling heavy lifting when necessary
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to coordinate timely deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each stop
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record or no more than 3 Points
- Experience in commercial driving 1 year + is highly desirable
- Ability to handle items safely and efficiently during loading and unloading
- Strong English communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local roads, navigation tools, and route planning techniques

Location: South Wales, Pontyclun
Pay: £110 per route using company van / £150 per route when using your own van
Schedule: Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Collection Time: 3:30pm
Black-Book Delivery Solutions is looking for a reliable owner-driver to support our growing operation by completing a regular multi-drop route for one of our meal preparation clients.
This role is designed to supplement your existing courier workload, providing guaranteed work on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons.
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries for a well-established meal prep company
- Approximately 25–30 delivery stops per route
- Estimated 6.5–7 hours to complete each route
- Collection at 3:30pm on each working day
- Friendly, professional customer service is essential
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's multi-drop courier experience
- Own van suitable for parcel deliveries
- Valid Hire & Reward Insurance
- Valid Goods in Transit Insurance
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- Smartphone with GPS navigation
