Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Caretakers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of designated premises. Prior experience is not essential, but a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure premises are tidy, safe, and welcoming
- Assist with minor repairs and report any significant issues to management
- Monitor the security of the premises, including locking doors and windows as required
- Support in organising supplies and equipment needed for daily operations
- Respond promptly to any maintenance or safety concerns raised by staff or visitors
- Maintain accurate records of tasks completed and any incidents or irregularities observed
- Support other team members with additional duties as necessary to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or caretaking is advantageous but not essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous manner when interacting with staff and visitors
- Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks such as lifting or moving equipment if required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
