We have a fantastic opportunity for a Formulations & Inventory Administration Coordinator to join our Technical Department at Devenish, working closely with our Commercial and Operational teams. Reporting to the Formulations Supervisor, you will gain hands on experience and the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge of animal feed diet formulation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting our Technical and Nutrition teams with the administration of diet formulation and transfer of diet information from our formulations programme into the central production database
- Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, account managers and nutritionists to ensure customer requirements are met
- Create product and label specifications complying with current legislation, ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Assist with the set-up of new raw materials and manufactured products on computer system, keeping everything up to date
- Helping with continual development of the department including updates to the formulation programme as requested by nutritionists
- Assist with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Classification, Labeling and Packaging (CLP) administration and queries during department absence
- Assist with pricing all manufactured finished goods, liaising with the commercial team to ensure they meet company pricing objectives
- Inventory management – reviewing inventory and reporting surrounding
What we are looking for:
- GCSE qualification at grade C or above in English, Maths and Science or equivalent
- 3rd level or equivalent qualification in agriculture, animal science or related subject
- Good attention to detail including analytical skills, numeracy accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels as a team player
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
- Good ICT skills and proficient in MS packages
- Experience of Microsoft Excel, Access, Bestmix and Navison (desirable)
- Has an agile approach to the role requirements and open to new challenges
- A full driving licence and access to a car.
