Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Ventilation Cleaning Assistant to join our team for a short-term project. This role involves assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of ventilation systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools, and have some experience in construction or related trades. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in industrial cleaning and maintenance processes within a professional environment.
This will be evening & night work / flexible from 1800 until completed.
The work will follow a planned program.
Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to clean and maintain ventilation ducts and systems
- Assist with disassembly and reassembly of ventilation components as required
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised throughout the shift
- Follow safety protocols and procedures diligently during all tasks
- Support the team in completing ventilation cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
- Report any issues or hazards identified during the cleaning process to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction work, or industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
- Familiarity with power tools used in maintenance or cleaning tasks is advantageous
- Ability to work safely with equipment and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
