Experienced Barista / Café Team Member
Location: Romford, Essex
Pay: £14 per hour

Little Wonder Street is a new premium children’s role-play, soft-play and family café venue opening in Romford.
We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our opening team and take pride in delivering consistently excellent drinks and customer service.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and serving our full drinks menu, including:
- Espresso
- Flat whites
- Cappuccinos
- Lattes
- Americanos
- Iced coffees
- Matcha drinks
- Teas
- Hot chocolate
- Babyccinos
- Smoothies
- Milkshakes
- Soft serve / frozen yoghurt
- Cold drinks
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a professional commercial espresso machine
- Preparing consistently high-quality coffee
- Steaming milk correctly
- Preparing iced coffees and matcha drinks
- Preparing smoothies and milkshakes
- Making teas and hot chocolates
- Serving soft serve / frozen yoghurt
- Making smoothies
- Keeping the coffee and drinks station clean and fully stocked
- Cleaning the coffee machine and grinders
- Supporting café service and customer orders
- Maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Helping train other café team members on basic drink preparation
Experience Required
Previous professional barista experience is essential.
You should be confident using a commercial espresso machine and working efficiently during busy service periods.
Experience within a quality café, coffee shop, restaurant or hospitality venue is preferred.
