The Role
We're looking for a sharp, self-directed PE / Investment Analyst intern to join our deal team for roughly two months. You'll be hands-on in building and working our acquisition pipeline — both firms actively listed for sale and firms we approach directly — and in getting management teams on the phone with us.
What You'll Do
- Screen accounting and audit firms listed for sale across business brokerage websites and M&A marketplaces
- Build and maintain a tracker of target firms — asking price, key metrics, deal status
- Reach out to brokers and sellers to gather further information on listed businesses
- Cold-outreach accounting firms that are not currently listed for sale, to gauge interest in a conversation
- Coordinate and schedule introductory calls between firm owners/management and our team
- Take notes and help prep briefing materials ahead of management calls
Ideal Candidate
- Studying at, or recently graduated from, a top university
- Prior financial work experience (banking, private equity, corporate finance, or similar) is a strong plus, though not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable picking up the phone and cold-outreaching
- Organized and self-directed; comfortable with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team
- Genuine interest in private equity, or entrepreneurship through acquisition
Pay: £20.00 per hour
