The North Face Belfast is an official partnership store, owned and operated by Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports — a British, family-owned brand that has been equipping explorers for nearly 100 years.
Our new store opening offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to move into retail management or increase their retail management portfolio. We are hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to provide valuable support to the Store Manager and to help drive the new store to success.

The role:
- Supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and leading the team in the Store Manager’s absence
- Bring The North Face brand values to life for customers and colleagues
- Lead and motivate the floor team and work on their personal and professional development
- Maintain strong visual merchandising to brand guidelines and communicate these to staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service and guide the team in this
- Drive sales and KPIs, helping the team achieve their best performance
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
About you:
- Experience of retail at an Assistant Manager or Supervisor level
- Ambitious and keen to develop a career in retail management
- Flexible, proactive, and always willing to support the Store Manager and the team
- A confident communicator who connects easily with customers and colleagues
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
