Overview
We are seeking an Edgebander Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating edgebanding machinery to enhance the finish and durability of wood-based products. Your expertise in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, will be essential in ensuring high-quality output. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate edgebanding machines, ensuring proper calibration and adjustments for different materials and finishes
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock for production needs
- Perform routine maintenance on tooling and machinery to maintain optimal performance and reduce downtime
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with materials in a workshop environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or woodworking industries with a focus on edgebanding or similar machinery
- Song mechanical knowledge.
- Warehouse experience is preferred to efficiently manage materials handling and inventory control
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety standards in a manufacturing setting
