We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s developmental milestones across areas such as communication, social skills, and physical development
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support the implementation of early childhood education curricula aligned with best practices and regulatory standards
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and sharing insights with parents and team members
- Lead by example in promoting inclusive practices, good behavior, and respectful interactions among children
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent are preferred
- Ability to drive is advantageous for supporting outdoor activities or home visits if required
- A genuine passion for early childhood development coupled with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm
