Production Administrator
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Administrator to support our fast-paced production operation. This role is key to ensuring accurate administration, effective communication, and smooth day-to-day coordination across the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee wage information and obtain supervisor approvals.
- Track and record daily employee hours across two production shifts.
- Prepare and maintain production documentation and records.
- Manage absence reporting processes, prepare return-to-work documentation, and communicate relevant information to the HR department.
- Compile production figures from previous shifts and update Gemba reports.
- Produce and distribute OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) reports for the Production Manager.
- Provide general administrative support to the production and management teams as required.
Essential Requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with colleagues at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- GCSE Grade A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record keeping.
