We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/woman to support essential home improvements and maintenance work within a care home environment.
Contract: permenant
Location: Red house
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 37.5 paid contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks
- Supporting minor refurbishment and improvement projects
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Responding to day-to-day maintenance needs within the care home
- Working respectfully in a sensitive care environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work
- Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and repairs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Understanding of health & safety practices
- Friendly and respectful approach when working around residents and staff
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting
- Relevant trade qualifications
