Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist with hotel-related tasks such as replenishing supplies, making beds, and ensuring guest comfort throughout their stay.
- Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other common areas by following established cleaning protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Support the front desk or hospitality team with light administrative duties or guest requests as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable.
- Experience in janitorial services or cleaning roles demonstrates familiarity with sanitation procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and supporting team goals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
