Little Sunshine Childcare is a private day nursery in Howdon, we are based in St Aidan's RC Primary School in our own area of the building. We have been open since 2019. We aim to provide a safe, nurturing, home from home environment that helps children to learn and grow. We provide childcare for children birth to 4 years, and provide a breakfast and afterschool club for school aged children. We are open from 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Experienced working with babies.
## Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment that supports children's holistic development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and engaging curriculum
- Support children's emotional well-being and encourage their social skills
- Support children with SEND and help all children to reach thier potential
## Requirements
- Level 3 in government approved Childcare/ Early Years Educator
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Ability to drive positive outcomes for children through effective communication and collaboration
