We are recruiting a Safer Communities Administration Apprentice to join the team at South Holland District Council which has been made possible through Pride of Place funding.
However this is more than an apprenticeship – it's the first step in a rewarding career in community safety and local government. As a Safer Communities Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals who help tackle anti-social behaviour, support vulnerable residents and develop initiatives that make neighbourhoods safer, stronger places to live.
Through hands-on experience, professional training and mentoring, you'll build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to develop your career within the Communities Service and the wider public sector.
What you'll be doing
As a Safer Communities Apprentice, you'll support the team with a range of activities including:
- Supporting victims of anti-social behaviour
- Maintaining case records and updating information systems
- Working with partner organisations including housing, police and support agencies
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders
We're looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised and able to manage their workload
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people
- Wants to make a difference in local communities

This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.
