1. MAIN FUNCTION OF JOB

- Performing the role of Assistant Manager in Operations
- Assisting the Head of Operations in performing Operations duties
General

- Adhering to all systems, controls & Regulatory guidelines
- Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures of the Bank
2. KEY TASKS
- To maintain effective support for the Front Office and ensure the timely and accurate verification and settlement of all transactions. The role provides critical operational support across a variety of financial products, while ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Transaction Processing & Settlement: Process, verify, and settle transactions accurately and timely in the core banking system (KINS) across various products including FX, Money Markets (MM), Derivatives, Corporate Loans, and Securities.
- Trade Confirmation: Prepare, check, and manage inbound and outbound confirmations, fixing notices, and resets for all transactions, ensuring details accurately match prior to value dates.
- System & Documentation Management: Manage data inputs and reporting across various systems (e.g., KINS, Murex, Euroclear), and ensure all trade documentation, invoices, and month-end statements are accurately processed, authorized, and filed.
- Corporate Actions & Funds Tracking: Monitor securities settlements and corporate actions in Euroclear, and track all inbound funds expected in relation to Corporate Loan activity, chasing clients when delayed.
- Communication & Support: Maintain effective communication channels with front-office trading teams, clients, and settlement agents to resolve queries, and provide cover for other operational staff members when required.
3. REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, planning, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
4. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of back-office operations experience in a banking or financial institution environment.
- Strong financial awareness and a keen interest in the banking environment.
5. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Prior exposure to back-office operations, trade settlements, or systems such as Euroclear, Murex, or equivalent platforms would be advantageous
