We have an amazing role for an enthusiastic and focused individual to join our fantastic flag ship store. We are looking for someone who is driven, confident, punctual and can use their initiative to achieve.
Experience is not required and full training will be given.
We work alongside The NHS providing a full free eye test and spectacle service to anyone receiving state benefits.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and expertise. As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for fitting, dispensing, and adjusting spectacles and contact lenses while providing valuable advice on lens options and frame styles.
Responsibilities:
- Speaking to and canvassing passing trade and inviting into store for free eye tests. Canvassing is key for the role.
- Drive sales
- Hitting targets
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and organisation
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses that meet their needs and preferences
- Dispensing spectacles to the patients
- Take accurate measurements for fitting eyewear frames and lenses
- Adjust eyewear frames to ensure proper fit and comfort for patients
- Administrative work
- Providing an professional aftercare service
